144 Fiber Plenum MTP Elite Cables

144 Fiber Plenum MTP Elite Cables utilize a higher performing MTP connector, each one selected only after meeting strict manufacturing tolerances. Each MTP Elite connector is therefore able to reduce the amount of insertion loss by up to half when compared to standard MTP connectors and even higher when compared to traditional MPO connectors. 144 Fiber Plenum MTP Elite Cables feature a fire-retardant material which has been developed to slow the spread of flames and reduce the production of smoke in the event of combustion.

144 Fiber Plenum MTP Elite Cables are available in twelve 12 fiber MTP Elite connectors or six 24 fiber MTP Elite connectors. While the 12 fiber connector remains the most abundant in the industry, it is often inefficient in transporting 40G signals as four fibers remain unused. The 24 fiber connector is able to use all fibers and transport three (3) individual 40G signals across a single connector pair, establishing itself as a much more cost effective solution.

Common applications for 144 Fiber Plenum MTP Elite Cables includes establishing up to seven (7) individual 100G (CPAK-100G-SR10) links over a single fiber trunk cable using CPAK to CPAK connections.
