SteelFlex OM4 Fiber Cables

SteelFlex Armored OM4 multimode fiber cables feature military grade steel armor enclosing high performance OM4 fibers.

SteelFlex Armor is designed with OptoSpan’s OptoLock, which consists of steel armor formed as overlapping links, and increases cable strength by 10x while retaining full flexibility. A lightweight protective solution developed to allow the installation of networking equipment in previously uninhabitable environments.

SteelFlex Armored Fiber Cables may be deployed in high stress areas such as naval vessels, aircraft, and the oil, coal or gas industries. The enclosed OM4 fiber is often chosen to ‘future-proof’ networks, due to being able to out-perform current demands while remaining fully compatible with current multimode networking hardware.

SteelFlex Armored OM4 multimode fiber cables are able to transport 40G data over 150 meters and 100G data over 100 meters. Supported connectors include Uniboot LC, Uniboot SC, ST, LC, and SC connectors. Custom configurations are available upon special request.
