OptoSpan MCM-1PS-M550L85 high-performance RJ45-SFP (LC) multimode Gigabit Ethernet media converter provides a low cost solution for connecting two different network segments via Power Over Ethernet (PoE)/PSE. This 10/100/1000BASE-T TO SFP (850nm) media converter supports Ethernet connections of up to 550m (over multimode fiber) and comes equipped with a powered device (PD) signature for detecting and monitoring power, as well as over-current protection, under-current detection and fault protection input. It also includes link fault pass-through capabilities, monitoring fiber and copper ports to prevent signal or data loss. This media converter complies with the IEE802.3af Power Over Ethernet standard and is ROHS and Trade Agreements Act (TAA) Compliant.
