72 Fiber Plenum MPO Cables

72 Fiber Plenum MPO Cables are most commonly used to consolidate the amount of individual multifiber assemblies and establish reliable trunk connections between fiber patch panels. These 72 fiber Plenum MPO cables feature a harness-style construction and are available as six 12 fiber connectors, or three 24 fiber MPO connectors.

12 and 24 fiber MPO connectors provide the widest range of compatibility due to their use in high performance transceivers. The 12 fiber MPO connector is most commonly used to connect QSFP+ and QSFP28 transceivers for 40G (40GBASE-SR4) and 100G (100GBASE-SR4) links. The 24 fiber MPO connector on the other hand is found in 100G (100GBASE-SR10) links using CXP or CPAK optical transceivers. 24 fiber MPO connectors may also be used to transport up to three individual 40G links using a fiber breakout cable or fiber cassette for proper configuration. Additional custom configurations are available upon special request.
