72 Fiber MTP to LC Breakout Cables are often utilized to reduce the number of fiber patch panels or fiber cassettes by allowing direct access to individual fibers. Applications include converting 40G/100G into 1G/10G rates, or vice versa (for example, carrying a signal from a QSFP+ transceiver and distributing across multiple LC SFP transceivers). Another common use is transferring data from a CPAK transceiver into a compatible fiber switch or fiber patch panel to continue distribution.

These 72 Fiber MTP to LC Breakout Cables are available as six 12 fiber MTP connectors, or as three 24 fiber MTP connectors. These options allow a wider range of compatibility and customization, including allowing separate MTP or MPO devices to connect to various devices over a single cable. Additional custom configurations are available upon special request.
