SteelPatch Armored Cables
SteelPatch Armored Fiber Patch Cables
In the data center, downtime is not an option. Traditional fiber optic cables used in data centers and other buildings are extremely delicate and prone to damage by people or animals. A broken fiber optic cable is a major problem because it often means that your entire network will go down until you can get a new one installed. This could take days, and cost thousands of dollars to fix!
OptoSpan’s SteelPatch Armored fiber patch cables provide a solution for these problems and are the best way to protect your investment in high-speed data networks!
Steel armored fiber patch cables offer extra protection against physical damage and network downtime, as well as making it easier to install and maintain them in your facility. These flexible cables are 5x stronger because they are made with a steel armored shell that protects the fibers from damage, so they won't break easily! That means less downtime for your business!
Make sure that the data center where your servers live have steel armored fiber patch cables installed so that there's no chance of downtime from a broken cable!
SteelPatch Armored: The most reliable alternative to regular delicate fiber patch cables!
Pre-terminated Armored Fiber Patch Cables from OptoSpan are specifically intended for data centers and feature a steel jacket molded into a helical pattern to protect the inside fibers. SteelPatch armor provides a fivefold increase in cable strength while remaining entirely flexible and lightweight. By utilizing this flexible armored cable, you may create a high-performance fiber optic network that is several times more dependable and has significantly less downtime than a network constructed with ordinary fiber optic cables.
These ultra-reliable yet lightweight and flexible cables provide more than five times the strength of standard fiber optic cables and are a cost effective alternative to traditional fiber optic cables in data centers and for fiber connections to desktop computers.
The cable's high crush resistance, remarkable flexibility, and light weight are just a few of its most distinguishing characteristics. Additionally, they are ideal for mission-critical data center backbones, extremely dependable trunk cables connecting data center racks, higher floors, and between-floor runs, as well as rodent resistant applications.
