144 Fiber MTP Elite Cables
144 Fiber MTP Elite Cables are available as twelve 12 fiber MTP Elite connectors, or as six 24 fiber MTP Elite connectors. Using 24 Fiber MTP Elite connectors provides a more cost efficient networking solution due to their ability to transfer various signals efficiently, such as twelve separate 10G signals, three separate 40G signals, a single 100G signal, or a combination of signals when used to connect properly configured devices.
The most common application for 144 Fiber MTP Elite Cables include transporting nearly a dozen individual 100G (100GBASE-SR10) signals utilizing a CPAK to CPAK link. Additional applications include distributing 10G and 40G signals to separate locations throughout a datacenter, including running large fiber counts into Fiber Patch Panels and Fiber Cassettes to access the individual internal fibers.
144 Fiber MTP Elite Cables leverage higher performing MTP connectors which reduces insertion loss by up to half, allowing network administrators to increase the amount of devices and patching occurring within the network. 144 Fiber MTP Elite Cables are therefore best deployed within 40G and 100G fiber networks, especially in performance critical applications.
